ZS-RAP Wonderboom 1992110 viewsI was picked up by Aubrey Pelcher (centre) and driven up to Pretoria to meet his Dad, Eddie, here on the right. Also got to meet Mrs Pelcher and their other family members. Eddie proudly showed me his barn full of aircraft fuselages. Then we drove over to the airfield to see his huge stock of spares.

DC-6 at Wonderboom 199296 viewsTwo DC-6s and four or five DC-3s, all belonging to Gert de Klerk as far as I know. The DC-6s were probably ZS-MTE and ZS-MUL or their later regs 9Q-CMC and 9Q-CJE. The DC-3s are some of ZS-CRV, DRJ, MFY, OJI, OJJ, OJK, OJL and/or OJM. Believe they had a regular network all over Southern Africa transporting khat (Bushman's Tea...and other stuff...)
